CONVERSAS QUE POTENCIALIZAM MULHERES PRETAS

The Iyalodês House Encounter consists of lecture series and discussion groups that address topics related to personal and professional development, such as leadership, emotional intelligence, empowerment, motherhood, and career.

FIRST EDITION

The first edition took place at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, on a very special afternoon with talks by Carmen Silva , leader of the MSTC movement, and the founders of the Iyalodês Institute, Ana Chaves and Gabriela Bitencourth .

We also had a musical performance by the talented Jeni Silva and a special appearance by Cida Lima , president of Amzol.

It is important to emphasize that the event was only possible thanks to the concession of the space, donations from third parties, and the collaboration of volunteers in all areas of the event.

A woman's success fuels the rise of others.

Historically, Black women from marginalized communities have faced a lack of support networks that understand their experiences. Their talents and struggles are often overlooked by a market and a society that still don't know, or don't want to, see them in their entirety.

Given this reality, we felt the need to build a safe environment for healing, exchange, and expansion, to encourage a conscious movement of transformation, where personal development ceases to be merely an individual journey and asserts itself as a political act of mutual empowerment and the construction of fairer and more achievable futures.
