EMPOWERING WOMEN WHO CROSS THE BORDER

Migrating is an act of courage! It's leaving behind...

It brings loved ones, cultural references, support networks, and often, a professional trajectory built over years.

It's about crossing borders carrying dreams, expectations, and the hope for a better life.

No woman should leave her power behind when crossing a border.

The Immigrant Women Lead (MIL) project was born from the understanding that no woman should face this journey alone. More than a leadership development program, this initiative is a space for support, connection, and empowerment . A place where women can share their stories, recognize their skills, rebuild their confidence, and rediscover the strength they possess within themselves .

HOW IT WORKS

INDIVIDUAL ONLINE MENTORING

6 MONTHS DURATION

Lectures and Collective Meetings

Female migration has grown significantly in recent decades, representing approximately 48% of the international migrant population . Despite possessing academic training and professional experience, many immigrant women face barriers related to diploma validation, access to the job market, discrimination, social isolation, and difficulties in cultural adaptation.

This reality generates not only economic impacts, but also emotional ones, affecting self-esteem, confidence, professional identity, and sense of belonging.

Therefore, the Immigrant Women Lead project promotes the strengthening of the "self," the building of belonging, and the development of female leaders capable of transforming their own trajectories and positively impacting other women .
